Biography
The Reivers were an American alternative rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 1984. Originally called Zeitgeist, they changed their name due to legal issues with another band. The group consisted of John Croslin (vocals, guitar), Kim Longacre (vocals, guitar), Cindy Toth (bass), and Garrett Williams (drums). Known for their literate songwriting, jangly guitar sound, and distinctive male-female vocal harmonies, they were part of the Texas alternative rock scene of the 1980s.
