Biography

The Breeders are an American alternative rock band formed in 1989 by Kim Deal of Pixies and Tanya Donelly of Throwing Muses. The band has gone through many personnel changes, with Kim Deal being the only constant member throughout their history. Their second album, 'Last Splash' (1993), became their most successful release, featuring the hit single 'Cannonball'.
